As a soldier, his dad always told him a bedtime story about an afterlife for every warrior that gloriously died in battle that called as Valhalla. At first, he did it only to amaze his son about the job he's currently doing but little did he know, it was the first trigger of his abnormal obsession towards the Valhalla itself. Little Morten thought about how cool his father job is. Fighting for his country, giving what he thought as bad guys a punishment for the sin they did, shaping his thought on how heroic a soldier is.Not until the passing of the father on one of his tour for the peacekeeping mission. It was the breaking point. The point where Morten believed that his father has gone ahead of him to the promised afterlife for every glorious death, leaving him to catch him up one day. Morten promised that he will achieved the glorius death himself.He signed with the army soon after, having his first tour on the age of 21. It was Iraq. His batallion was tasked to advise and train the Iraqi security forces, which he considered as a boring task to do. There's no glory in that, there isn't a single thing to please the all-father. Hence he acted on his own, helping the force in some of their offensive. This action led to his arrest and also trial for being AWOL.

Following his arrest, he was brought back to his homeland to face trial. The court ruled that Morten should serve a period of 1 year in confinemen along with forfeiture of all pay and allowances followed by dishonorable discharge. Devastated because of the losing of his only way to gaining the all-father, Morten thought hard, trying to find another way that could bring him back to his struggle for glory. Before someone finally came along with a way out. The boss offered him a job in his company. It was a mercenary army that provides services for those who are willing to hire them, starting from bodyguard services, clean-up crew, assassination or even arms dealing. At that point, Morten got no hesitation in accepting the offer. He didn't even care about the sin from the new job, all he had to do was killed in a combat. No matter what he's fighting for, a combat to die for is what he's longing.He works as one of the arms dealers that providing arms for every groups or individuals that's interested. He earned a callsign "Einherjar" that we know where it's coming from. Morten is an embodiment of how a bedtime stories might effect your child's life. So, a little tips from me.
